my studio... a tour from Lindsay

I am participating in a blog hop this week. It's sponsored by
head over to her site by clicking here and you can see all the other blogs featured in the tour.
And please leave me a comment...
i would love to know what you think.
this is an old hutch i have that i have turned into some great storage. Thre drawers are filled with ribbons...
For the CHA show ( Crafts and Hobbies Association) I wanted a stand up girlie of my drawings. This little girl was a great addition to my booth
Sadly, we have a fire very close to our house right now and I am in Sisters Oregon for the Sisters Quilt Show. My husband has taken  all my quilts, scrapbooks and journals and loaded them into bags to take if he needs to evacuate. I have no idea exactly what he grabbed and didn't grab. So, i hope it's still all there when i get home.
My son, Kurtis of Kurtis Ostrom Photography -
took all the photos. He wanted me in some too... I protested but lost out... oh well.
I collect spools and one day will use them in a very cool and big project. Or... i may just look at them. I love them
These are some of the stamps i did for Whipper Snapper Designs

a couple of projects on the drawing table
if you look closely on that wall... you will find Flat Fanny, circa 2011

Love my old printers tray....
Thanks for taking a quick tour of my studio. For those of you who don't have one... I didn't either, until last year. I had to wait for kid number two to move out. Then we cut this window into the wall so i was not so clostrophobic. I sitll have one kid at home and when she moves out... the studio will be giant! I did live without one for most of my adult life and was able to create great things. So... keep wishing, hoping and dreaming. It will happen.

thanks again for taking a peek!

  31. Lindsay, thanks for sharing your studio and yourself with the world. It is a happier place with YOU in it for sure. I didnt realize how much I missed your expression until I found you on FB after all these years! Although we dont know each oer personally, I always felt a connection to you thru the Paper Rabbit, well frankly our entire family did! Thanks again and maybe next year when I come up to my clay retreat in Reno, I'll take a detour and find you! <3 peace, Klew
