TODAY...
I am gonna give you all a little
on the road
PIECE OF MIND....
Hehe, play on words a bit. Paper Piecing to be exact.
You should be able to copy and paste this trailer art, print it out on
white card stock, color it in or trace it onto maps, travel
brochures etc.... then cut it out and glue it all
back together again to create a trailer.
Get it?
Great.... if you like this and create it, please send me an email with a picture of your finished piece. Pretty please!
This is some wording that I like to put with my trailer in a journal page, on a canvas or maybe a lined journal cover. If you don't like my wording...
there are wavy lines there at the bottom. Use those to create your own wavy lettering. Just make sure when you do your lettering that your letters go ALL the way up to the top line and sit all the way down on the bottom line. Pen it all in and then erase on all the lines. You will see how I use this piece on a page on
Saturday June 13th.... right here - on the blog.
So here is what i did...
Not all of what I did because that will be revealed on Saturday June 13th. For now, I printed out the trailer on white cardstock and cut around all the edges...
just like you see here.
Next, choose your papers - or create your own. I did that here for my gold striped trailer but more about that on... yup, you guessed it Saturday June 13th. Trace all your shapes onto whatever paper you want to use and cut out all your pieces. As you cut, it's easiest to place them where you will want them to go so you can glue them on quick and easy.
And a few short minutes later you have a fully restored
vintage canned ham trailer! Ready for using any way you like. Super cute if I do say so myself. I did add a little glitter glue (crystal) at the very end. And I used the Kuretake Vellum writer for all the detail.
So hope you all enjoyed that and I hope that you all will make your own little trailer. Tomorrow brings us
Postcards From The Road
so stay tuned...
and Happy Trails!
Oh.....................
and I did mention something about a give away, right?
If you made it this far, you deserve a chance.
Comment every day Monday thru Saturday this week
( that's 6 comments in all )
and you will be entered in a drawing for a bunch of Kuretake pens
and some Cut and Color sheets from my stock.
Yippie!!!!
So remember...
all you have to do is comment!!!
