CHALLENGE.....

If you look up the word "challange" in the dictionary, you would see that the meaning is something like... Lindsay has alot of work to get done this month, so she is hosting a challange on her blog so she dosen't have to do the work. It's true... that's what it means....
SO..........
Here's the idea with this challenge...
I am challenging you guys to make something super cool using either book pages or dictionary pages this month. They are my new favorite form of background, i use them to create flowers, in mixed media, to paint on... you name it.
SO.......
Start thinking of some creative way to use them or create with them and get going. E-mail me (lindsayostrom@yahoo.com) photos of what you end up doing and i will post for voting here on the blog. Winner gets some cool thingie made by me!!! Deadline is June 19th!!! I will post cool pieces that I have found using book pages during the month. So... ready, set, GO!!!!

*Disclaimer.... if you are a teacher or librarian, please note that no real books will be harmed in this challenge. We crafty folks use books that are old, mildewed, from thrift stores, from garage sales that are falling apart or missing pages.... we upcycle them and breathe new life into them. So.... yeah, chill... it's just art!
