karen's green challenge

Karen S. came into the store today to show me her green challenge. She said the pictures didn't do it justice. Oh wow....
She took her organic spinach container and used alcohol inks on the outside. Great effect!
This is the card that she put inside the lid that tells you exactly what she did for her challenge...
She cut up scraps of all of her favorite papers. 237 of them to be exact.
Green mulberry, handmades, tissue, washi, vellum, vintage and even some she made herself with alcohol inks. She is a true artist and paper is her passion. She has some great papers. This was truly fabulous Karen, thanks for playing. What do you all think of this project by Karen.... post your comments below.

Karen's "green challenge" is wonderful. I would buy it in a minute. Fantantic, creative and fun. I love the green ribbon and recycled container.

Karen's green challenge is amazing! The papers are gorgeous and I think recycling the spinach container is a very clever idea.

Everyone's project is just so much fun and so on target that it's almost impossible to vote for just one. But I really loved Karen S's green paper container, because it was truly "green" and it serves a purpose. So she gets my vote. Congrats! to all the artists!
