Well ladies... we are done with National Letter Writing Month... and it was a great one for me. Filled with lots of cards and letters... thanks to all that played. Now, back to crafting!
This cute little bunny was made at my craft retreat this weekend. She went to a friends granddaughter today for her first communion. She named her chubby bunny and she has a little pocket for a bit of funny bunny money....
Next , i worked on a work shirt/ artists smock for my friend Paula. This is the back, with her nickname.
I took off the pocket and altered it with strips of fabric and a dinosaur... of course.

The back has a big sun, some clouds and some sunny rays... it was sunny here this weekend and was glorious!
Here it is in the planning stages...
I made some tulip pockets just the right size for a cel phone... and one with a quote that suits her " Peace, love and crafting"

The retreat was MARS... Mountain Artist Retreat and Sleepover. I will post more pics soon... but it was fabulous. We swapped merit badges and they were all so cute. Each one as unique and creative as the wild women who made them. A fabulous weekend of friendship, love and creativity had by all!!!!

The chubby bunny and the smocks are fantastic ideas. I need to get my sewing machine into action.
