six days of december

This is another fun garland to make. With this one you tear pieces of fabric, about 6" long by 1-2" wide. You start with a piece of ribbon or yarn the length that you want your garland and begin by tying a knot at one end. Make it big enough so that the fabric won't slide off the end. Start tying strips of fabric, very close together. Let the ends fray or trim them up at the end of the project. Just a single knot will hold them. These are fun for other events than just the holidays. Make them in whatever colors you want to match a room or a party.
