the fifth craft of december

This is one our oldest crafts here in the Ostrom household. I used to participate in a craft fair at Disney Studios in Los Angeles and my husband an I made these cute signs to sell. Not too hard to make if you have someone to cut the wood for you. All you need to do is make a template for an octagon pattern for the stop sign. Cut that out of plywood and paint the entire piece red. Make the white outline and use either black or white paint to do the lettering. Use a fence post or a stake to attach to the back to post in the front yard. We are making several of these this year for the little kids we know. Our kids still love seeing this year after year.
