the fourth of december

This cute little garland was made by cutting (or punching) circles out of newspaper and/ or dictionary or book pages, then you crumple them up , them flatten them out and stack them. If you cut them in sizes from small to large, them they can stack easier. Thread a broad needle with waxed thread and start threading through the stacks of circles. If you tie a knot at each end of each stack, then they will stay apart. You can put paper beads in between each stack or colorful beads, but the knots work just as well. You can also use magazine pages or 2-sided scrapbooking papers to make it more colorful.
