This handsome guy is my son Kurtis. He is 20 and leaving today for Thailand. It's a trip that he and his two friends have had planned for a year. It didn't seem real until about a month or so ago. Now there is civil unrest in Bangkok (where they fly into tonight) and I am just a bit unsettled about him going. I have always wanted to travel; road trips here in America is as good as it has gotten for me. So, it's hard not to be excited for Kurtis. I hope you all don't mind if from time to time I share his travels and adventures with you.
This is Thailand... Beautiful, isn't it? We will spend the day in San Francisco before he gets on the plane. They are off at 1am. Yes, i will be at the airport until the plane takes off and at work at 8am tomorrow.... wow.
This is why my boy wants to go there... who wouldn't want to see this and experience it for 6 months. Just a quote from Baba
Ram Das (Bhagvwan Das ) "Remember ... BE HERE NOW"

Thinking of you and keeping Kurtis in my thoughts and prayers. I did a lot of crazy things when I was young. I'm sure he will be fine and will have a wonderful time. Big hugs!
