I am grateful tonight for the fact that I was able to take the ideas that have been swimming around in my head and put them onto paper... finally. I am having a booth at the CHA show in the license and design section. You don't sell anything there... except yourself! I can sell anything and anyone... but i am not too good about selling myself. One word... timid! But I luckily don't have to be in the booth most of the time. My trendy son and my oh so cute friend Alli will be my reps. They get to sell me... good luck!
So... in this pic is a 6' table with a table cloth that my friend Karen is going to sew for me. I am going to make 2 garlands with fabric leaves. One for the table draping with the word SCRIBBLES made out of fabric or paper stuffed letters that will hang off the vine. I will have the same vine hanging above their heads and there will be stuffed paper hearts hanging down from it. I am going to use the few sheets of paper that I have designed... that sounds cute to me. On the walls... will be my art and on my IPAD will be all of my art on a slideshow.
I am most excited about going to my friends daughters shope (T Pots pottery) in truckee and painting some ceramic cups and bowls to go on the table. I am gonna have colored pencils in the cups and in the bowl, i will have black and white biz cards/ resume sheets that people can sit and color while they are sitting and chatting it up with the trendy kids!
I am so nervous and excited at the same time. I am just grateful that I have three more months to get it all done.

Congratulations Miss Lindsay! This is a wonderful opportunity and you shall do just fine. I relate to the timid part of self-promotion and sales so you are super smart to have "representatives" to do that for you. :o)
Happy Halloweekend and be certain to treat yourself...

Your ideas for CHA sound great!

A wonderful artist friend of mine once said - not only are people buying your art, they are buying a piece of you because they like what they see/feel. Let your rep close the deal and allow yourself to be the fun, spunky person you are.

I'm lucky that my rep (Mom-Cory) is crazy fun.

Congratulations and have fun!
